If you want authentic banh xeo, Bep Me In serves the most generous portions I've found. Although I see it as a spot to try once, the quality of the dish is impressive and worth the visit. On the drinks side, don't miss the egg cocoa—a rich and intense treat reminiscent of Hanoi's egg coffee but with a delicious cocoa twist. With many outlets across the city, it's an accessible way to indulge. I also appreciated the welcoming vibe and friendly staff at some lesser-known spots, with a bonus of a cat to keep you company! These places often have unique atmospheres that make your dining experience memorable beyond the food. While some dishes like Banh Canh Cua 87 didn’t quite match my taste due to the meaty flavor, everyone’s preference is different, so it might be a hit for you.
