GAMEDAY Essentials✨
Today is my college football “Backyard Brawl” (Pitt vs. WVU) and it’s gonna be a hot one! 🥵 Some of these are unique to me, but are still good things to keep in mind to bring to a stadium for a football game/any sporting event!
✨Clear bag: I don’t know if this is the case for every stadium now, but we are required to bring clear bags of a certain size when entering the stadium. Searching up “clear bag for stadium” on Amazon can give you a bunch of options! Just FYI: don’t put any valuables in clear sight, and have this bag on you at all times!
✨Sunscreen: I’ve only learned recently you should be wearing sunscreen EVERY DAY, not just when it’s hot and sunny! But, today is going to be especially hot and sunny, so sunscreen is a must for a pale girl like me (and anyone, sunburn can get everybody!)
✨Perfume: I bring a rollerball/travel spray with me everywhere, but also the smell of sunscreen isn’t my favorite 😂 This one is BARE from VS (not bare vanilla, just bare) and they have a whole line of lotion, body milk, body spray and an eau de parfum! They also have variations of BARE rose and BARE magnolia if you like those!
✨Car keys: Whether youre driving to the stadium or parking downtown and taking a bus/subway, have your car keys on you! I park at a park and ride lot that lets me keep my car somewhere and I can take the bus into town, but I have left my keys on a bus in the past so now they’re always in my bag. (If you choose to drive to the game, PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!)
✨Wallet: I like to bring my wallet with me everywhere even though I keep my drivers license, student ID, and debit card in the back of my phone. Also, many stadiums may have transitioned to cashless pay systems, so you may not even need ur wallet at times! But always have spare cash on you for emergencies & usually there will be cash-to-card machines at a stadium!
