Wow, it feels like just yesterday I was boarding that plane to Stockholm, a city I'd always dreamed of visiting! As BINX the singer, I'm always searching for new inspirations, and sometimes, you just know you need a complete change of scenery to unlock new creative doors. That's exactly what my solo trip to Sweden was about. It wasn’t just a vacation; it was a pilgrimage to immerse myself in new sounds, new sights, and new collaborations that eventually led to the creation of 'Top Of Mind'. I remember thinking, 'This is it, this is where the magic happens.' The air in Stockholm felt different, crisp and full of possibility. I was so excited to meet up with my incredibly talented musical sister, @marymiofficial, and the brilliant @claraalm.music. The energy in the studio was just electric! It’s one thing to work on music alone, but there’s something truly special about bouncing ideas off other passionate artists. We shared stories, listened to each other's influences, and slowly, piece by piece, the vision for 'Top Of Mind' started to crystallize. For me, 'THE MAKING OF' a song is such an intimate process. It’s like tending to a tiny seed and watching it grow into something beautiful. There are moments of pure exhilaration when a melody just clicks, or a lyric perfectly captures a feeling. And then there are the moments of doubt, where you question everything. But having Mary and Clara there, offering their unique perspectives and incredible talent, made all the difference. We laughed, we brainstormed, we experimented with different sounds until we found the perfect groove that felt authentically 'Top Of Mind'. This initial session was truly the 'PT.1' of something bigger. We spent hours refining chords, experimenting with vocal harmonies, and just letting the song take us where it wanted to go. It wasn't always easy, but the shared passion for creating something meaningful kept us going. As BINX the singer, my goal is always to connect with people through my music, and I believe 'Top Of Mind' is going to do just that.
