Does anyone else miss what Lemon8 used to be? It used to feel like this little cozy corner of the internet — full of positivity, inspiration, and real people sharing their lives. I’d scroll and see posts about homes, reading lists, fashion finds, handmade jewelry, delicious recipes, and weight loss journeys. It was uplifting — especially for women — and felt like a space where we were all just cheering each other on.
Now? I feel like it is overrun with scams and rage bait. Every other post is someone claiming they “made $10k, check my bio to see how,” or content deliberately stirring arguments about celebrities, politics, and controversial topics just to farm comments. The whole vibe has shifted from authentic connection to engagement bait.
I miss the days when this app felt like a supportive community instead of a battlefield for hot takes and fake offers. Can we bring that energy back? I came to various social medias to get away from the hustle and hardships of everyday life. ✨
So, if you’re someone who posts about book, food, travels, etc… please, please, please let me know. I’d love to follow you and fill my page with all the good stuff ❤️

I agree, and Lemon8 now feels like Instagram or Facebook. All I see are rude, entitled people in the comments, politics, scams, religious stuff on my FYP. Before the merge all I used to see was posts about people winning Lemon8 merch and posting stuff related to Lemon8, motivational post like weight lost, body positivity etc.
