This Burrata was so good🥰

Burrata Like You’ve Never Had Before! This Tadka Burrata is drizzled with a sizzling, aromatic tadka (tempering) of warm spices, nuts, and chilies, creating a harmony of textures and bold flavors. Scoop it up with crispy naan for an irresistible bite!

Tadka Burrata

2 Burrata

¼ cup Olive Oil

½ tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil

½ tsp Mustard Seeds

½ tsp Cumin

1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

2 pcs Dried Whole Red Chili Peppers

4 pcs Curry Leaves

2 tbsp broken Cashews

2 tbsp Golden Raisins

2-3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped

4 Green Chillies (keep 3 whole, finely chop 1)

½ tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder

⅛ tsp Red Chili Powder

2 pinches Turmeric

4-5 stalks Cilantro, chopped finely

Chaat Masala

Sea Salt

Cracked Black Pepper

Honey

Naan chips or Toasted Garlic Naan

Prep following:

-In small bowl 1 add: Mustard seeds, Cumin, Sesame Seeds, Dry Whole Red Chili Peppers

-In small bowl 2 add: Curry Leaves, Cashews, Raisins, Garlic & Green Chilies (slit & chopped)

-In small bowl 3 add: Kashmiri Chili powder, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric & Cilantro

-Slit 3 Green Chilies & add pinch of salt inside.

-Set aside all above for steps below.

-Heat Olive & Sesame Oil in a small sauce pan on medium heat. Careful not to burn or smoke oil!

-Once oil is heated add bowl 1: Mustard seeds, Cumin, Sesame Seeds, Dry Whole Red Chili Peppers. Cook till the cumin or sesame seeds start to crackle.

-Then add bowl 2: Curry Leaves, Cashews, Raisins, Garlic & Green Chilies (slit & chopped), Mix. Let that cook few seconds till cashews are starting to turn golden

-Remove off heat & add bowl 3: Kashmiri Chili powder, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric & Cilantro. Mix.

-In a small deep dish, add Burrata & drizzle the tempered/tadka spice mixture over it.

-Sprinkle Chaat Masala, Sea Salt, cracked Black Pepper & drizzle Honey on top of Burrata for a touch of sweetness

-Dip into Tadka Burrata with Toasted Garlic Naan or Naan chips

NOTE: I used frozen Garlic Naan for extra flavor, baked it & then toasted it to make it crispy
