If you haven’t read this book yet, I definitely think you should give it a shot when you get the chance! You can find it at Target, and the author just released book two there as well. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I know a lot of people had mixed feelings about this one.
That being said, personally loved it. The story does have a slower build-up, and there’s a little bit of spice toward the end. If I’m being real, the dynamic between Astrae and Nyte kind of gives off ACATOR vibes. If Feyre and Rhysand were a bit more mysterious and serious, this would be them. I’d explain more, but I don’t want to accidentally spoil anything!
