... Read moreHave you ever tried burning sage to clear out negative energy but ended up feeling a bit lightheaded or even dizzy? You're definitely not alone! Many people use sage smudging as a tradition or ritual to cleanse a space of bad vibes, but sometimes the experience can be unexpectedly funny or even a bit overwhelming. I remember the first time I tried it, excited to embrace the ritual. Instead of feeling refreshed, I found myself coughing and almost passing out from the smoke! It turns out that if you are sensitive to smoke or have allergies, sage-burning can have unintended side effects. Not to mention, being the "evil spirit" in the room, as the meme suggests, can make the situation pretty hilarious. What I've learned is to always make sure the room is well-ventilated and to keep smudging sessions short. Also, be mindful if you have respiratory conditions. The humor in these moments is a great reminder not to take spiritual practices too seriously and to enjoy the journey—even when it doesn't go as planned. If you’ve ever had a quirky experience with sage or any other cleansing rituals, it’s fun to share and laugh about it. After all, humor is one of the best ways to connect and learn from each other’s spiritual misadventures!

It’s never too early for new school supplies! 🍂
