Lost my job! Behind on rent! Single mom!
I was fired from my job on 10/26/25. I had helped the company revamp their policies, roll out the employee handbook, & more. Once everything was completed, they let me go & simply said, “You’re not fit for the company’s future.” I was shocked!
Rent was due, the holidays were coming, & my kids’ birthdays are around the corner. As a single mom, I prayed & cried out to The Lord, & the only word I kept hearing was “entrepreneur.”
So I shifted my focus back to my online boutique & it’s been doing so well.
Thank you all so much for supporting & blessing my business.
My goal is to always stay affordable & give you access to luxury pieces at prices within reach.
Love you all!

Losing a job can be one of the most daunting challenges, especially for single parents juggling financial responsibilities and family care alone. This heartfelt story highlights how resilience and determination can turn setbacks into new beginnings. When faced with sudden unemployment and mounting bills, many may feel overwhelmed and uncertain about next steps. However, refocusing on existing skills and passions often opens the door to entrepreneurship. Launching an online boutique is a fantastic example of creating a flexible, scalable income stream that can grow with dedication and strategic marketing. Many single moms find that ecommerce platforms allow them to balance childcare with business needs, eliminating commuting and rigid schedules. Success in this arena requires building trust through transparency and consistently offering value. By prioritizing affordable luxury, the boutique attracts customers seeking quality without breaking the bank, a compelling niche. Moreover, the mental and emotional journey is just as significant. Turning to faith, community support, and embracing a new identity as an entrepreneur helps many single mothers regain confidence and motivation. Sharing personal stories online can foster connections with others undergoing similar hardships and inspire collective encouragement. Practical tips for anyone considering this path include researching market trends, leveraging social media to increase visibility, and using customer feedback to refine product offerings. Additionally, financial literacy and budgeting become crucial to manage fluctuating income streams effectively. Remember, the path from job loss to self-employment is challenging but achievable with persistence, resourcefulness, and community support.
