Crazy work

In my experience, many people encounter similar struggles when their emotional needs are dismissed or misunderstood. What I've found helpful is setting clear boundaries and expressing emotions in calm, non-accusatory language. Using 'I' statements, such as 'I feel hurt when...' rather than 'You always...,' can reduce defensiveness and promote understanding. Moreover, self-reflection helps in recognizing when our expectations might be too high or when past experiences color our perception of current interactions. Balancing empathy for oneself and the other person’s perspective can lead to healthier communication patterns. If you find yourself caught in a cycle where your needs are consistently dismissed as overthinking or drama, it might be necessary to re-evaluate the relationship dynamics or seek support from trusted friends or professionals.
