Stop looking for proof that it’ll work.
One thing I've learned after starting and failing at a starting a businesses a couple of times is that there's never really a right time.
I kept waiting for some kind of sign that I was doing the right thing.
More orders.
More followers.
Some proof that it was actually working.
But I've realized that proof usually shows up way later than you want it to. And if you're constantly looking for it, you'll probably quit before it arrives.
A couple months ago I had, like, two orders. One item per order MAX.
This month I'm at 16. 23 items in total. Which isn't some crazy success story.
But if I had stopped because I wasn't seeing results fast enough in the 5 months of 0-1 sales, I would've never gotten here.
And honestly, the weird thing is that the slow seasons aren't always bad. When you're not drowning in orders, you have time to experiment, make mistakes, improve your products, and figure things out.
I know it's frustrating when nobody's buying. Trust me, I've had plenty of those days.
But looking back, some of those quiet periods were exactly what I needed.
So if you're waiting for a sign to start or to continue, this is probably it:
Stop looking for proof that it'll work.
Just focus on becoming the person who keeps showing up until it does.
