Time to Roll✨

before beginning this recipe, know that you’re gonna wash your hands A LOT

I made my pastries from scratch. for best results, make sure to freeze them overnight.

in this recipe, they say that you need to keep your counter floured, they ain't joking, it will get very sticky, and you will keep needing to put a flour down before you end up rolling into a rectangle. You have been warned.

As for the cinnamon inside my rolls, I literally just put

- melted butter

-2 tbsp of cinnamon

- 2 tbsp of sugar

And Waited for it to cool and then added it inside of my strips that I rolled out. If you do not have a pastry brush, might as well get your hands dirty.

The mixed berries are a different story, I bought them frozen from the store, heated them on the stove with some lemon juice, sugar, and a little bit of flour (cornstarch is better) to thicken it up. Make sure to mash any big fruits that might’ve been in there, a.k.a. strawberries, took it off when it started to look like a jam.

Wait for it to cool down THIS IS IMPORTANT, if it’s too hot, it can melt your pastry, even if it was frozen, and it will not stick together, correctly.

And then I put, with the mixed berry mix on the inside of the rolls, a little bit of melted butter mixed with the mixed berry sauce on the outside after putting them inside my 9 x 13 pan

I cook these in the oven for 20 minutes at 425°F make sure to oil your pan, or if you have parchment paper that’s great too.
