After 4 years of waiting, it’s almost here! Another milestone for us, and a very expensive one indeed 💸 But we can’t wait to finally call somewhere - Ours! 🤭

As of today,
1. 💡 We have purchased our main lights from Sol Luminaire (Low key regretted because I didn’t do my research and found out they were TWICE the price compared to other shops! Knew they were expensive but didn’t know it was THAT expensive. But all’s good, husband justified the cost because of the warranty time period/reputation)
2. 🧱 We visited Hafary! Love love their tiles, but haven’t decided and may visit a few other shops to compare prices/designs. Lesson learnt from the lighting 😖

For example, we initially bought our main lights from Sol Luminaire but later found them to be twice as expensive as other stores. While warranty and reputation matter, comparing alternatives can save a lot of money. On designing your home, I've found that striking a balance between aesthetics and functionality is key. The integrated sink and cool brown carpentry that lend a hotel-like vibe are timeless choices, enhancing your daily living experience. Additionally, visiting multiple tile suppliers like Hafary offers a good variety of textures and colors. Don’t rush your decision; sample different designs to see what complements your overall theme. Also, having an open kitchen with a dry pantry not only enhances space but keeps your kitchen organized. Minimalist carpentry creates a large living area that feels welcoming and uncluttered, perfect for hosting friends and family. Lastly, document every step of your journey, from purchases to installation. It’s rewarding to look back and see how much progress you’ve made, and sharing these experiences with others can be incredibly helpful for those about to start their own BTO journey.
