I highly recommend wearing comfortable clothes, long pants, and closed-toe shoes to protect your legs and feet. And seriously, don't forget the sunscreen! Even on a slightly overcast day, the sun can be intense up there with no shade. Our guide had water, but bringing your own extra bottle is a smart move, especially for the longer 2-hour ride. For photos, trying to take them while riding can be tricky, but our guide was happy to pause at a few lookout spots so we could snap some amazing shots with the Hollywood Sign and the city as our backdrop.
