First Time Gardener

Hi! I’m a first time gardener, trying to learn how to grow my own berries. I noticed that my strawberries keep having these weird holes?? Anyone know what it is and have any advices on how to prevent it from forming? TIA!🩷🩷

... Read moreStarting your gardening journey can be both exciting and challenging, especially when you encounter unexpected issues like holes in strawberry leaves. These holes are often caused by pests like slugs or insects that feed on the foliage. Understanding these issues is crucial for successful gardening. To prevent damage, consider implementing organic pest control methods such as introducing beneficial insects like ladybugs or using diatomaceous earth around your plants. Regular monitoring of your plants also helps in detecting any problems early on. Furthermore, proper spacing and air circulation can reduce fungal infections that may also lead to cosmetic damage. Engaging with other beginner gardeners through forums can provide additional support and insights. The hashtags #firsttimegardener, #strawberry, and #gardeningforbeginners can be valuable resources to connect with others who share similar experiences. Don't hesitate to share your gardening trials and triumphs, as community knowledge often proves essential on this learning journey.

Why Every Gardener Needs Hydrogen Peroxide 🌸🍋
I used to think hydrogen peroxide was just for first aid kits… until I tried it in my garden. 🌿 Now it’s something I always keep on my potting bench. Here’s why: 🌱 It helps prevent root rot when plants get a little too much water. 🐛 A gentle spray keeps fungus gnats and other pests in check.
