My fave weight loss tips 🫧
This is your sign to stop counting the calories in your gummy vitamins and DayQuil. I know it feels like you’ll never be happy until you’re a size 2 (what even is a size 2? It changes with like every brand), but I promise if this is your current mindset, you won’t be happy even then.
You have to realize that you are entirely enough just as you are. You do not have to change yourself to be worthy of love and happiness. Trust me, I have been where you are. I still deal with it today. I am learning that life is short, and there is so much to be enjoyed that I cannot enjoy if I am constantly worrying about my ever-changing appearance.
It’s unfair. Standards are unrealistic and unforgiving. If you’re a size 2, then you “need to eat a cheeseburger“. If you’re a size 20, you need to “lay off the cheeseburgers“. You will never make society happy, there will always be something to change. The moment you achieve perfection as according to society, is the moment the standards shift and you are left at Ground Zero yet again.
If you are struggling with this, please seek professional help. Disorders are just that: disorders. It’s not your fault, but there are things that you can do to help yourself.
You are loved as you are, and losing weight will not make you more loved. The only thing that will make you more loved, is learning to love yourself and give yourself grace.

In today’s world, the pressure to conform to beauty standards can lead to unhealthy mindsets surrounding weight loss. It’s crucial to ditch the unrealistic expectations and focus on what makes you happy. Instead of counting calories, prioritize self-care and well-being. Realizing that bodies are meant to change can be liberating and an integral part of nurturing a positive relationship with yourself. Remember to embrace vulnerability and accept that losing weight won’t necessarily increase your self-worth or happiness. Engage in activities that make you feel good, like enjoying your favorite foods or spending time with loved ones, and take steps towards self-acceptance. Additionally, consider surrounding yourself with supportive communities that share similar outlooks on body positivity and self-love. Engage in conversations that promote healthy habits rather than focusing solely on weight. Understanding that true beauty comes from within and that every body is unique can encourage you to make choices that reflect your values and happiness rather than societal pressures. Seek out professional help if needed, and always prioritize mental health on your journey to better self-acceptance.
