Urgent prayer requests

Thanks for praying everyone. It’s been quite the time. So ready to be back in the US even if we are in the doctor’s office right when we get back.

My husband’s aunt is doing alright so far but has three punctures that needed stitches. She will also have to receive rabies vaccines.

That's exactly how it's felt for us lately, and I truly believe in the power of "urgent prayers" during these challenging times. We're facing a couple of significant health concerns right now, and honestly, every single prayer makes a difference. First, my husband's aunt was recently involved in a terrifying "pitbull attack" while traveling in "Mexico." It wasn't just a minor bite; she sustained three punctures that required stitches. Beyond the immediate pain and physical wounds, there's the added worry of preventing infection and the ordeal of needing "rabies vaccines." It's a scary situation, and we're praying relentlessly for her swift and complete recovery, for the stitches to heal cleanly, and for the vaccines to do their job effectively without complications. The emotional toll of such an attack can also be profound, so we're asking for prayers for her peace of mind and emotional healing too. As if that wasn't enough, we're also dealing with our daughter, who has come down with a concerning "fever and rash." It's so hard to see your little one unwell, and we're hoping to get clear answers and effective treatment soon. We're praying for her comfort, for the fever to break, and for the rash to clear up quickly without any lasting issues. It's a constant worry, especially when you're far from home and yearning to be back in familiar surroundings where you know your doctors. We're actually "ready to be back in the US" even though it means heading straight to the doctor's office upon arrival. These moments truly make you lean on your faith and community. When life feels overwhelming, knowing that others are lifting your family up in "urgent prayer requests" brings an incredible sense of comfort and strength. It's a reminder that we're not alone. I often find myself repeating simple prayers for protection, healing, and guidance for the medical professionals involved. Whether you're a #christian or #catholic, or simply a person of faith, these shared moments of intercession are so vital. For anyone who has experienced similar unexpected crises, you know the feeling. It's about taking it one day at a time, trusting that there's a plan, and holding onto hope. We specifically pray for the success of all medical interventions, much like one would pray "for a successful surgery." In our case, it's successful wound healing, successful rabies vaccine course, and successful diagnosis and treatment for our daughter's fever and rash. We're so incredibly thankful for every thought, every kind word, and especially every prayer sent our way. It truly helps us navigate these waters.

Thanks for your prayers everyone. Our aunt is okay all things considered. She received stitches and a rabies vaccination. My daughter’s temp went down and we think the rash is from the highly chlorinated pool. Hopefully she will be on the mend soon. 🙏
