And I nursed her just as I always do. I still make sure to cover up if I can, but young children deserve food and comfort even if you’re not tucked away in your home. Your body was meant to do this and it’s beautiful. I wasn’t always secure in the decision to nurse in public, and still often get very nervous. I’ve learned to listen to my child and not worry about opinions. She deserves my comfort anywhere. 💗

Nursing is a beautiful choice (zero shade to those who use formula!). In our culture, breasts are sexualized. Out of courtesy, I always covered while I was nursing. I do wish it were more socially acceptable to just feed your child regardless of what shows. ❤️
