Chicken owners, HELP!!

Hey all!! My family and I just moved into a new house and it came with 9 chickens! We’ve been here for about 5 days and we’re starting to get the hang of it, but there’s still a lot to learn (apparently) 🥲 how do you keep the yard clean from the poo?! How often do you change the bedding in the coop?? Free-range chickens can also contribute to natural pest control. They help keep the yard tidy by eating insects and weeds. Additionally, it's beneficial to establish a dedicated area for your chickens to roam, which helps confine messes to certain locations. Incorporating good practices such as rotational grazing can also benefit chicken health and yard maintenance. Engage with fellow chicken keepers online or in local community groups to share tips and tricks for effortless care. I changed bedding whenever it needs to be changed which is normally every every 1 to 2 months and make sure if they crack an egg do not let them get to it. they will continue to eat all of their eggs as long as they can and will crack them

If you don’t want them to really free range you can make a chicken tractor of sorts to control where they graze. Otherwise I suggest a boot scraper mat. I’d change the bedding in the coop once a week and make sure to wear a mask, compost the spent bedding for great fertilizer for the garden!

Running a business isn’t easy, especially when a lot of the tools out there built to help entrepreneurs cost a pretty penny. I’ve personally used Calendly, Trello and Dropbox and I can say they’re great! I actually use Trello on a daily basis for work and I’ve been using it for years — love it!
