Ideas for positive energy
1. Gardening. I love buying plants and watching them thrive. Taking care of them is relaxing. Also, I enjoy planting seeds and seeing them grow.
2. Journaling. I use to think “How can this help?”. I learned to like it. It is so useful if you are an over thinker, or want to process something. It helps me calm my mind. I know I can always go back and read it again if needed. I like that it can really help me process emotions, situations, and thoughts.
3. Cooking. I think cooking homemade food is therapeutic. Making soups, baking, or even just making a salad. It doesn’t take long and in the end I can eat it. I love food so much.
4. Arts and crafts. I enjoy crocheting. I enjoy puzzles (does that count? lol). I enjoy drawing, and painting. I sometimes buy little kits like the other day I got a rock painting thing. It didn’t last long it got wet on and the paint came off.
5. Self care. Self care can look like many different things. I do a lot of things. I do my own nails. I do face and hair masks. Breath work is really good for self care. I do my best to meditate once a week. I even workout about 3 times a week. It isn’t a lot, but it doesn’t have to be. I love going on walks as well.
~BONUS 6. My pets. They help me feel less lonely and I can talk to them if needed. When I am not okay my cats walk over and check on me. My cats like joining me on walks too. I have a backpack, pet stroller, and I have harnesses and leash for when they feel like walking.
