Psalm 118:22 ~
The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone…
They said it was too much.
Too messy.
Too far gone.
Life tried to label you as broken…
But God never agreed with that diagnosis.
Because what felt like breaking…
Was actually building.
Every tear?
Every setback?
Every moment you thought you wouldn’t make it through?
God was laying bricks.
Strengthening your foundation.
Shaping you into something the world didn’t see coming.
You are not damaged goods.
You are not discarded pieces.
You are handcrafted by the Master Builder! 🙌🏼
What others overlooked…
God is using as the very thing that will hold everything together.
You weren’t meant to shatter…
You were meant to stand.
You are built… not broken! 🙌🏼
Lord, thank You for never seeing me as broken. Even in my weakest moments, You were building something strong within me. Help me to trust Your process and walk boldly in the strength You’ve placed inside of me. Remind me daily that I am not what I’ve been through… I am who You are shaping me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍
What tried to break you… God used to build you! 💚

In my personal journey of faith, I have often faced moments when I felt labeled as broken or too far gone, much like the experiences described in Psalm 118:22. It can be easy to believe the harsh words of life or self-doubt, but what this message beautifully reminds me is that these struggles are not final. Each difficulty, tear, and disappointment is part of a greater construction process. From experience, recognizing that God is laying bricks to build me up has brought peace amid chaos. What resonates deeply is the idea that I am handcrafted by the Master Builder—not discarded or damaged goods. This perspective transformed how I deal with setbacks: instead of feeling defeated, I now see these moments as opportunities for growth and foundation strengthening. For instance, during challenging seasons like job loss or health struggles, rather than giving in to despair, I trusted that God was building resilience and shaping me into something stronger than before. Moreover, sharing this encouragement with others has been powerful. Many people feel overlooked or undervalued, but this message speaks directly to those who think they are broken beyond repair. The truth is, what others see as flaws or failures, God uses as crucial parts to hold the whole together. This inspired me to participate in communities of faith where we uplift each other by sharing testimonies of overcoming trials and walking boldly in the strength God provides. In daily life, embracing "Built Not Broken" has led me to create small rituals of reflection and prayer. When negative thoughts creep in, I remind myself of this truth: "I am not what I’ve been through; I am who God is shaping me to be." This mantra cultivates a mindset of hope and perseverance. I encourage anyone navigating tough circumstances to hold on to this truth and trust that nothing is wasted in God’s hands. Ultimately, this message is a powerful beacon for anyone needing encouragement that their current struggles are purposeful. Life’s messiness and setbacks are not signs of failure but steps toward being strengthened and handcrafted into a resilient, purposeful vessel. Embracing this truth allows us to walk boldly each day, supported by faith and the knowledge that we are built, not broken.
