Psalm 46:10 ~
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
In a world that constantly pushes us to hurry, achieve, fix, and perform… sometimes the holiest thing we can do is simply sit in the presence of God! 🙌🏼
No striving.
No pretending.
No fancy words.
Just you and Jesus.
There is something powerful about learning to be still before the Lord. Not because every problem suddenly disappears… but because His presence changes us while we sit there.
The world says…
“Keep moving.”
But God whispers…
“Come sit with Me.”
Sometimes we’re so busy asking God to give us answers that we forget His presence IS the answer our weary hearts truly need.
Peace is found there.
Strength is renewed there.
Healing begins there.
Joy returns there.
You don’t have to earn a seat at His table.
You don’t have to clean yourself up first.
You don’t have to have perfect faith.
Just come! 🙌🏼
Sit with Him in the quiet moments.
Sit with Him in the middle of the tears.
Sit with Him before the sun rises.
Sit with Him when your heart feels heavy.
Sit with Him when you don’t even know what to pray.
Because even silence becomes sacred when you’re sitting in His presence.
Today, may we stop rushing long enough to remember that being with Jesus matters more than being busy for Jesus.
Lord, quiet every anxious thought within us. Teach us to slow down and rest in Your presence. Remind us that we don’t have to carry everything alone. Fill our hearts with Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your comfort today. Thank You for always making room for us at Your table. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

In today's fast-paced world, finding moments of stillness can feel like a challenge, but I have personally experienced the profound impact that comes from intentionally sitting in God's presence. It’s not always about solving problems or receiving immediate answers; rather, it’s about allowing ourselves to be fully present with Him—no distractions, no performances, just honest and sacred quiet. When I embrace these still moments, especially in the early morning before the day begins or during times of emotional heaviness, I find a gentle peace that seems to nourish my soul. It’s as if God’s presence wraps around my heart, offering comfort and a renewed sense of strength. This practice helps shift my perspective from anxiety and endless to-do lists to a calmness that reminds me I’m not alone, and I am deeply loved. One of the most encouraging truths I’ve discovered is that you don’t need to feel ‘ready’ or ‘clean’ to come before God. He invites us just as we are—flawed, tired, and imperfect—to sit with Him. There’s a sacredness even in silence; it’s a holy space where healing begins and joy quietly returns. The Psalm verse, “Be still, and know that I am God,” resonates more now than ever. It’s an invitation to pause and fully trust, surrendering the urgency of the world’s demands to the gentle whisper of God’s presence.
