Psalm 92:13 ~
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
Have you ever noticed that wildflowers don’t argue with where they’re planted?
They simply bloom.
Some grow beside weathered fences. Others push through gravel roads, old barns, or forgotten fields. They don’t wait for perfect soil, perfect weather, or perfect timing.
They bloom anyway.
God often works the same way in our lives.
We spend so much time praying for a different season, a different job, different circumstances, or different people that we forget He is fully capable of producing something beautiful right where we are.
At New Life Farm, the prettiest flowers aren’t always the ones we intentionally planted. Sometimes they’re the ones God planted Himself.
The same is true for your life.
Maybe this season feels ordinary.
Maybe it’s messy.
Maybe it isn’t what you imagined.
But ordinary ground in God’s hands becomes holy ground.
Don’t overlook the place He’s planted you.
Because while you’re waiting for the next chapter…
God is growing something beautiful in this one.
Jesus,
Help me stop wishing away the season You’ve entrusted to me.
Teach me to bloom where You’ve planted me and to trust that You know exactly what You’re doing.
Produce beauty in places I thought were barren, joy where I’ve grown weary, and faith where I’ve grown impatient.
May my life point others to You, no matter what field You’ve called me to. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

Reflecting on the message of blooming where you’re rooted, I’ve found that embracing the current season in life—even when it feels ordinary or challenging—can bring unexpected growth and fulfillment. Much like the wildflowers described, which don’t wait for ideal conditions, we too can thrive in the places and situations where God has placed us. This mindset shift helps reduce frustration and impatience, reminding us that every phase has purpose. In my own experience, practicing patience and faith during uncertain times has been key. Just as bread requires time to grow, be harvested, ground, and kneaded before it nourishes, personal growth also unfolds through a process that can't be rushed. Over time, what once seemed barren or difficult transformed into opportunities to develop resilience, joy, and a deeper connection with God. This journey isn’t about perfection or having everything figured out. Instead, it's about staying connected to God—the One who plants us—trusting His wisdom, and allowing Him to produce beauty and strength in unexpected ways. Whether it’s in your career, relationships, or personal challenges, consider how you might intentionally bloom this week where you are planted. Small steps of faith and kindness can lead to profound growth. Remember, ordinary ground in God’s hands becomes holy ground. While waiting for the next chapter, trust that God is already working to grow something beautiful in this one. By embracing this truth, we can find peace and purpose regardless of our circumstances.
