🤍You Won’t See It Differently Until You’re Willing to Come Up Higher🤍
Revelation 4:1 ~
“Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
There’s something completely different about looking across a farm from the ground…
and looking across that same farm from the top of a barn loft.
Nothing on the farm changed…
The pasture is still the pasture…
The fence is still the fence…
The muddy spot is still muddy…
But climb that old wooden ladder and suddenly…
you can see farther.
You notice where one field ends and another begins…
You see the road you couldn’t see from below…
You realize that what looked enormous when you were standing beside it looks a whole lot smaller from above…
And friend…
sometimes the situation doesn’t need to change first…
Sometimes your perspective does! 🙌🏼
We spend so much time asking God…
“Lord, change this…”
“Fix this…”
“Move this...”
“Get me out of this…”
And sometimes I wonder if God is saying…
“Come up higher. I want to show you something.”
Because down at eye level, all you can see is what’s directly in front of you.
The problem…
The disappointment…
The unanswered question…
The thing somebody said…
The thing that didn’t work…
The thing you thought would have happened by now…
But God sees the whole farm.
He sees where this road leads.
He sees what’s around the bend.
He sees the door you haven’t reached yet.
He sees what He protected you from when you thought He was withholding something from you.
He sees how one season connects to another.
And He sees the purpose in places that currently look pointless to you.
Maybe today you don’t need another answer…
Maybe you need God’s perspective! 🙌🏼
Climb Above the Noise!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
You cannot hear God clearly while allowing every other voice to shout over Him.
Climb above the opinions…
Climb above the comparison…
Climb above the fear…
Climb above what social media says your life should look like by now…
Get alone with God.
Open His Word.
Pray before you react.
Worship before you worry.
And ask…
“Lord, show me what YOU see.”
Because from where you’re standing, you may see a dead end.
But from where God sits…
He sees the road continuing.
From where you’re standing, you may see something falling apart.
God may see something He’s finally getting into position.
From where you’re standing, you may think you’re behind.
God may know you’re exactly where you need to be.
Jesus, when I become consumed by what is directly in front of me, lift my eyes. Help me see my circumstances through Your truth instead of my fear. Quiet the voices that distract me and draw me closer to You. Give me wisdom not to make decisions based only on what I can see today. Teach me to trust that You see the entire road ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 🤍

Don’t make permanent decisions from a ground-level view.
Before you quit…
before you assume the worst…
before you decide God isn’t moving…
climb the ladder! 🙌🏼
Get above the noise and spend some time with the One who can see the entire field.
Your circumstances may look completely different when you view them from His perspective! 🙌🏼
