One of my favorite stops is definitely Kermit's Key Lime Pie shop, where the tangy, creamy pies and fruity drinks feel like a refreshing treat after a day of exploring. The variety of eateries gives you a chance to taste authentic Southern flavors and sweet indulgences. I've also enjoyed wandering around the unique stores exclusive to The Island, finding souvenirs and gifts that reflect the spirit of the Smoky Mountains. The Soar America 1000 attraction offers a thrilling zipline experience, perfect for adventurers seeking a breathtaking view from above. Another highlight is sampling the locally crafted Smoky Moonshine, which adds an authentic touch to the visit and connects you to the region’s heritage. The lively atmosphere with street performers and live music adds to the fun, making it a great spot for families and friends alike to unwind. Overall, The Island combines natural beauty with entertainment, shopping, and delicious food, making it an essential destination when visiting the Great Smoky Mountains area.
