I didn't want to just throw my cake flowers away!

My cake flowers were so beautiful and I couldn't fathom just throwing them away. I cleaned them off (the frosting that had gotten on some of them). I dried them in my room that has lots of sunshine over about a months time. This was a process, as I turned them a couple times a week to ensure they wouldn't sit too long in one spot and mold. They didn't all make it, but a lot of them did. It was a tedious process but so worth it. I searched Etsy for the perfect airtight jar to store them in and I even asked the seller if they could engrave the top with our wedding date and she was so accommodating. This was a perfect DIY way to preserve some of my wedding flowers and make a forever keepsake.
