✨FIRST PROJECT OF THE NEW YEAR✨
I made some punch cards to get motivated to achieve the goals I have set for myself this year! I didn’t explicitly write the reward, but my fiancé said he’d buy me a blind box (my obsession currently) for every goal achieved ❤️. I made a few categories pertaining to my goals: consumption, business, and productivity.
🧴🧶 CONSUMPTION GOALS: I made these because I want to be better about using what I have versus buying new even though I already have plenty of an item. This year im trying to be more consistent in terms of taking care of my skin hence the skincare punch card. I have a ridiculous amount of candles and yarn, so I’m going to use more of what I have before I buy more!
💸 BUSINESS GOALS: I contemplated on the title for this one just because I wouldn’t consider my shop on Whatnot a business, but it seemed to fit the best. I currently only have around 430 followers and 9 items sold, so I’m hoping to build it up a little more! Right now, I only sell charms (purse, phone, etc.) and metal bookmarks on there. If you’re interested or just want to support, please check me out! My user is in my bio :)
🏃♀️🎨 PRODUCTIVITY GOALS: I created these specific ones because I’m trying to be better about putting my phone down. So, the goal is one book a month and complete various projects (painting, crochet, charms, etc.) throughout the year. I’m preparing for a MudRun as well! It’s essentially a 3 mile obstacle course concerning strength, stamina and more (while covered in mud).
What are your goals for the New Year??? 🎇

Hey everyone! Seeing my New Year's punch cards in action has been such a game-changer for staying on track with my goals. If you’re looking for a fun and super visual way to tackle your resolutions this year, creating your own punch cards might be just what you need! Why Punch Cards Are Great for Goals For me, the visual progress is incredibly motivating. Every time I punch a hole, I feel a little burst of accomplishment, and it keeps me pushing towards that next step. It's like turning your goals into a fun game! Plus, having a clear reward at the end, like a blind box, makes the journey even more exciting. It's not just about the big goal; it's about celebrating those small, consistent efforts along the way. How to Create Your Own Goal Punch Cards It’s surprisingly easy to make your own. All you need are some index cards or a piece of paper, a pen, and maybe some colorful markers to make them visually appealing. Identify Your Goals: Start by listing out your main New Year's resolutions. Try to break big goals into smaller, manageable steps. For example, instead of 'get fit,' you might have 'Go On 15 Runs' or 'exercise 3 times a week.' Choose Categories: Group similar goals. I used 'Consumption,' 'Business,' and 'Productivity,' but you could have 'Health & Wellness,' 'Learning,' 'Hobbies,' or 'Financial Growth.' Define Milestones: Decide how many "punches" each card needs. If your goal is to 'Read 12 Books' this year, your card could have 12 sections, one for each book completed. For my consumption goals, I have cards like 'Use 10 Skeins of Yarn,' 'Burn 10 Candles,' and 'Use 10 Skin Care Products,' making it concrete and measurable. Pick Your Rewards: This is the fun part! Think about what genuinely motivates you. It doesn’t have to be big; it could be a special coffee, an hour of guilt-free TV, or even a donation to your favorite charity. For my business goals like 'GET 50 SALES ON WHATNOT!' or 'GET MORE FOLLOWERS ON WHATNOT!', the reward is the growth itself, but a little treat along the way never hurts! Design & Display: Get creative! Make your cards colorful and inspiring. Display them somewhere you'll see them daily – on your fridge, desk, or vision board. My cards, set against a dark background with abstract shapes, make them a cheerful reminder of what I'm working towards. You could even title them 'FIRST PROJECT of the NEW YEAR' to give that fresh start vibe. Other Punch Card Goal Ideas: Beyond what I’ve shared, here are a few more ideas for your own punch cards: Health: 'Drink 8 Glasses of Water Daily' (20 punches for 20 days), 'Eat 5 Servings of Veggies' (30 punches for 30 days). Learning: 'Learn 5 New Words Daily' (total 100 words), 'Complete 1 Online Course.' Hobbies: 'Practice Guitar for 30 Mins' (15 punches), 'Finish 10 Projects' (like painting or crochet). Financial: 'No-Spend Day' (20 punches), 'Save $50' (5 punches for $250 total). Remember, the key is consistency and celebrating every small victory. These simple punch cards are truly helping me stay accountable and excited about what I can achieve this year. What goals will you turn into punch cards?

I need to do these !!!
