Choosing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays, preventing premature aging, sunburn, and even skin cancer. For best protection, apply sunscreen generously every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Hydration is key during summer, not only topically but also by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
