Want to start running? Follow this plan
So you want to start running but you don’t know where to start… and let’s be real, every time you’ve tried before, it felt more like survival than a workout?
Same.
But this time, I built a plan that actually works — and I’m going to walk you through it.
Here’s the truth: you don’t need to be fast. You just need to be consistent and stop quitting every time it feels awkward.
You build endurance the same way you build anything else: one rep at a time.
Here’s how I started (and how you can too):
• 2 runs per week
• Start with 30 sec jog, 90 sec walk x10
• Add 15 sec to the run time each week
• Keep showing up even when it’s ugly
• Focus on rhythm, not speed
Don’t overcomplicate it. Your first win is just showing up.
Tag me if you try this — or save this post for the days you’re tempted to quit.
You don’t have to be a runner to start.
You just have to start to become one.
