When we set out to pack our days with no buffer time in between, we start to miss all the beauty in life that surrounds us on a daily. Take time to add space for little interruptions, intentional breaks...aka TINY PLANS

Tiny Plans are nothing serious but it's not meant to be. Try to incorporate at least one tiny plan for one day, one week, even one month, and see if you can catch little things you would usually miss. If you're able to hear more than outside voices and note if you feel 1% better afterwards!

For example, I often make a tiny plan to step outside for just 60 seconds to feel the sun on my face. This brief pause recharges my energy and resets my focus, even on the busiest days. Another tiny plan I enjoy is a short “nothing walk,” where I disconnect completely—leaving my phone and distractions behind—and simply observe my surroundings. This quiet time allows me to process thoughts without pressure or urgency, making me feel calmer and more present. Sometimes, I organize a small chaotic space like a drawer or a shelf; the immediate visual peace creates a surprising sense of accomplishment and calm. Before bed, I try to reflect on one act—no matter how small—that made my day or someone else’s day a little easier or happier. This practice shifts my mindset toward gratitude and kindness, which carries over into the next day. These tiny plans don’t require grand effort but show meaningful results. Integrating such small moments as intentional pauses fosters mindfulness and helps balance a packed schedule, ensuring we don't miss out on the beauty around us. If you’re curious, you might start by picking just one tiny plan today, and notice if you feel even 1% better afterwards.
