My sweet mother…🍍

My mom is a “cruiser…” she joins different Facebook groups closer to the time of her cruise to find out things going on during the trip. A big group of people (a few of my siblings and their family/friends) are going.. along with my mom and stepdad. My mom joined this group thinking that it was just a “normal” group.. and she tried adding my sister and brother in law to the group.. let’s just say we all had our laughs and she has continued to state, “I’VE UNJOINED THE GROUP!”

🤣🤣🤣

Joining Facebook groups dedicated to travel can offer valuable insights, from tips on excursions to dining recommendations. However, as illustrated by my mother’s experience, it’s crucial to understand the group’s purpose before inviting others. This not only prevents embarrassing misunderstandings but also enriches the overall group engagement. When planning a family cruise, it’s beneficial to research specific cruise-related Facebook groups, as they can become treasure troves of information. Look for public groups focusing on your specific cruise line or destination. Participating in discussions can help you gather useful tips and tricks from fellow cruisers. Topics might range from packing hacks, onboard activities for all ages, to excursions that’ll please even the pickiest family member. Additionally, understanding the dynamics of family interactions during vacations is essential. Each family has its unique set of traditions and humor. Using social media to communicate and plan can foster better connections, while also allowing the opportunity for laughter, as seen in my mom’s recent experience! In conclusion, while social media platforms like Facebook can be a fun way to connect with fellow cruise enthusiasts, always ensure that your family is on the same page to keep the vacation enjoyable for all. Happy cruising!
