One crucial tip I’ve learned is to always cleanse your face before going to bed, especially if you’ve worn makeup during the day. Skipping this step can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Gentle exfoliation is another important factor. While exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells, over-exfoliating can cause irritation and damage your skin barrier. I find that exfoliating 1-2 times per week with a mild product works best for maintaining a fresh and smooth complexion. Perhaps most vital is wearing sunscreen daily. Many people underestimate the harmful effects of UV rays on skin health. I make it a habit to apply an SPF product every morning and reapply throughout the day if I’m spending extended time outdoors. This protects against premature aging, sunburn, and reduces the risk of skin cancer. Incorporating these do's and don'ts — cleansing before bed, gentle exfoliation, and daily SPF use — can lead to long-lasting skin benefits. Remember, skincare is not just about products but also about consistent and mindful habits. Your skin will thank you for it!
