Simple Sanity Tip for Today

Things are upside down and all over the place right now, in all the ways. All sorts of trauma triggers coming out of nowhere and everywhere! Yes, of course we need to pay attention. Yes, of course we need to take action. Yes, of course there are alarming and inhumane actions being taken against us and/or people we love and the earth. This is intended to shake us up. Don’t let it take hold for too long.

💫 Go outside and breath the air (the colder the better!) at least 3 times a day.

💫 Click a youtube meditation or put on your calming playlist (or make one!)

💫 Do 10 jumping jacks

💫 Roll around on the floor with your dog (or find somebody else's dog!! <3)

We are absolutely useless if we're responding too quickly. We are causing more harm than anything if aren't able to come back to the center of ourselves to gain discernment (and in some cases, fact check!) before unintentionally promoting more chaos.
