It means "do" or help create a question / reject.

Mini Tip:
If there is a "do / do" in front of the verb → is a question or a rejection.
If it's a statement → don't need to do / do

ถ้ากำลังหา “แบบฝึกหัด do does” หรืออยากฝึก “ประโยคปฏิเสธ ภาษาอังกฤษ” แบบเข้าใจเร็ว เราลองทำชุดฝึกด้านล่างนี้ได้เลยค่ะ (ทำเสร็จแล้วค่อยเลื่อนดูเฉลย) ระหว่างทำให้จำหลักง่ายๆ ก่อน: Do ใช้กับ I/you/we/they และ Does ใช้กับ he/she/it 1) โครงสร้างที่ใช้บ่อย - ประโยคคำถาม: Do/Does + ประธาน + กริยาแท้ช่อง 1 (ไม่เติม s) ? ตัวอย่าง: Do they play football? / Does he like coffee? - ประโยคปฏิเสธ: ประธาน + don’t/doesn’t + กริยาแท้ช่อง 1 ตัวอย่าง: She doesn’t watch TV at night. 2) แบบฝึกหัดเลือก Do หรือ Does (เติมให้ถูก) ข้อ 1 ___ you like coffee? ข้อ 2 ___ he play football? ข้อ 3 ___ they watch TV at night? ข้อ 4 ___ she study English every day? ข้อ 5 ___ it work well? 3) แบบฝึกหัด “เปลี่ยนเป็นประโยคปฏิเสธ” (ใช้ don’t/doesn’t) ข้อ 6 I like coffee. → __________________ ข้อ 7 He plays football. → __________________ ข้อ 8 They watch TV at night. → __________________ ข้อ 9 She studies English every day. → __________________ ข้อ 10 It works well. → __________________ 4) เฉลย (เช็กคำตอบ) ข้อ 1 Do / ข้อ 2 Does / ข้อ 3 Do / ข้อ 4 Does / ข้อ 5 Does ข้อ 6 I don’t like coffee. ข้อ 7 He doesn’t play football. ข้อ 8 They don’t watch TV at night. ข้อ 9 She doesn’t study English every day. ข้อ 10 It doesn’t work well. 5) ทริคกันพลาดที่เจอบ่อย - อย่าเติม s ที่กริยาเมื่อมี does/doesn’t แล้ว: (ถูก) Does he like… / He doesn’t like… - ถ้าเป็นประโยคบอกเล่า (ไม่ใช่คำถาม/ปฏิเสธ) ปกติไม่ต้องใส่ do/does เช่น He likes coffee. ถ้าอยากให้ยากขึ้น ลองแต่งประโยคจากชีวิตประจำวัน 5 ประโยค โดยต้องมีอย่างน้อย 2 ประโยคคำถาม และ 2 ประโยคปฏิเสธ แล้วเช็กว่ากริยาหลัง do/does เป็นช่อง 1 เสมอค่ะ
