Book Recommendation

Darius the Great is Not Okay: this book is touching. Darius is half Persian (like me!). The book beautifully explores the beauties of #Persian culture, the Iranian dictatorial regime, mental health, family love, father son dynamics, and a brief touch on LGBTQ issues (hinted at in this story). It also explores how non western boys/ men can show platonic affection to one another. Darius is not afraid to cry, and is a soft and gentle soul. I love this book and highly recommend it. #persian #iran #protectiranianwomen #bookrecommendations #booktok #books #reading #yazd #halfpersian
