I couldn’t be more happier to announce that we are expecting again.
I didn’t know how I would handle being pregnant again After having a rough summer, dealing with my first ever miscarriage.
But with the grace of God, I couldn’t be any happier and thankful for this opportunity. I am blessed to have a gift of another child, because children are a gift from the Lord.
”Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.“

After what felt like an eternity of keeping our little secret, it feels so right to announce that we're expecting our rainbow baby. I know so many of you have been on this journey with us, and your support means the world. There were moments I didn't know if I'd ever feel this profound happiness again, especially after our rough summer, but with every passing day, hope has bloomed.
When it came to making our pregnancy announcement, we really wanted something special and heartfelt, especially given our journey. We spent ages brainstorming different pregnancy announcement ideas! We considered everything from elaborate photoshoots to simple, intimate reveals. In the end, we went with a classic yet incredibly sweet flat lay, just like the one you might have seen – a black letter board proudly declaring 'WE'VE BEEN KEEPING A little secret DUE JULY 2024.' Seeing those words next to our precious sonogram, tiny baby booties, and those little wooden blocks spelling 'BABY' just made it feel so real and incredibly special. We even added a pacifier and a wooden rattle, all nestled on a soft, white knitted blanket with twinkling string lights, to capture that cozy, hopeful feeling. It was a beautiful way to share our hope and excitement with the world. If you're thinking of your own announcement, consider what feels most 'you' – whether it's a creative photoshoot, a sweet letter to family, a fun social media reveal, or even a personalized gift. The key is to make it authentic to your story!
For those of you who might already have little ones, figuring out how to tell your kids you're pregnant can be another exciting step! We've been thinking about this a lot, wondering how we'll involve them. Some friends of ours did a 'big brother/sister' reveal with a special t-shirt for their child, or even a 'bun in the oven' baking session where they literally pulled a bun from the oven to represent the baby. Another lovely idea I heard was giving them a book about becoming a big sibling or letting them help pick out a small item for the baby's nursery. It's all about making them feel included and excited about their new role in the family.
As we embark on this new chapter, I've found myself looking up so much about what's happening inside. It's truly miraculous! Thinking about what a real 8-week fetus looks like, with its tiny developing heart, or visualizing a 3-month baby in the womb, starting to move and form, and then fast-forwarding to being 28-weeks pregnant, feeling those strong, definitive kicks – it’s just incredible. Every time we see an ultrasound, like the one in our announcement, it's a powerful reminder of the tiny miracle growing and developing. From those first fluttery movements that feel like butterflies, to the anticipation of feeling strong, regular kicks, each stage is so unique and precious. I’m just soaking up every moment, full of gratitude and love, and trusting in this beautiful process. We are so ready for all the adventures ahead with our precious little one, and we can't wait to share more of this incredible pregnancy journey with you all.
How did you make this ?
