The enemy may be present but not Prevailing

3/14 Edited to

... Read moreIt's natural to wonder why challenges arise even when you feel spiritually protected. From personal experience, I've seen that opposition doesn't necessarily signal failure—it often means growth is underway. The phrase, "The enemy may be present but not prevailing," perfectly captures this dynamic. Just because conflict exists doesn't mean victory is lost; instead, it highlights the spiritual battle where faith is tested and strengthened. I recall a time when I faced significant hurdles at work while deeply committed to my faith. Despite the obstacles, I reminded myself of the message found in 2 Samuel 8, where King David encountered opposition but maintained authority because God was with him. This passage reassured me that external challenges lack the power to dictate my outcome if I'm grounded in faith. This insight has helped me embrace patience during delays without confusing them for denials. Sometimes, setbacks feel overwhelming, yet they can be setups for something greater. Understanding that "your delay is real, but it’s not denial" shifted my perspective to viewing trials as opportunities rather than defeats. Maintaining continuous obedience and building on your faith foundation are vital. Even when the enemy is loud and present, remember "it's not Lord." This mindset encourages steadfastness through difficulties and helps protect your peace. Surrounding yourself with reminders that God is with you—including community support and uplifting scripture—can fortify your resilience. For anyone wrestling with conflict amid faith, know that your struggles don't strip you of authority or divine favor. Instead, they invite you to deepen your trust and keep moving forward, confident that your outcome has backing beyond what you see. Keep faith-driven, keep building, and celebrate every step of progress—even when the enemy tries to appear dominant.
