Autumn has arrived in Disney World 🎃🍂🫶🏻
…actually it’s been around for a while 🤣
I wanted to hold off on my autumn content until it was officially autumn, and now it’s really starting to feel like it!
Here in NY, it’s been gloomy, a little chilly and overall the most PERFECT autumn weather 🤩
Fun fact, autumn is my favorite time of year! I know lots of people say once the warm weather goes away they fall into seasonal depression, but the fall/winter is when I THRIVE.
What about you? Are you an autumn/winter person like me? Or do you miss the sun?

Visiting Disney World during autumn is a unique experience that blends the thrill of Halloween with the charm of fall colors and cooler weather. One of the exclusive seasonal offerings you shouldn’t miss is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which features special decorations, themed parades, and character meet-and-greets dressed in their Halloween costumes. I've found that this event perfectly captures the spooky yet family-friendly atmosphere that makes fall visits to Disney so memorable. Besides the party, autumn in Disney means enchanting pumpkin patches, especially those shaped like Mickey pumpkins, adding a whimsical touch to the parks. The cooler, sometimes chilly weather, much like what the New York autumn is known for, makes exploring all the themed lands much more enjoyable without summer’s intense heat. If you’re planning a trip in October, be sure to check out special Halloween parades and outdoor shows that celebrate the season with music and lighthearted spookiness. Additionally, some cruises offer enchanting autumn-themed experiences, blending Disney magic with fall's natural beauty. For those curious about weather—particularly if rain might interfere with your fun—October generally balances mild, pleasant days with occasional showers, so packing accordingly will help you make the most of your visit without worries. Personally, autumn at Disney feels like a magical spell that combines my love for the season with the enchanting world of Disney. If you’re an autumn or Halloween enthusiast, this time of year brings a special kind of joy and plenty of photo opportunities! Have you experienced any autumn events at Disney that enchanted you? Sharing tips and moments helps everyone enjoy the season even more.
