Supports getting bullied
Leave us healers alone😭😭
Okay, so you know how sometimes in games, you're playing a support or a healer, and you're literally trying to keep everyone alive, but then you feel like you're the one getting targeted or even 'bullied'? Well, I kinda feel like that in real life sometimes, especially when it comes to my crush in 8th grade. It's like, you want to make a move, or even just say hi, but you just lack the courage. Every time I think about it, my mind goes, 'Where are my healers!?' – like, I need someone to come in and give me a confidence boost or just rescue me from this awkwardness! Sometimes I wish I had a 'Jarvis remove his' button for all the embarrassing thoughts that pop into my head when my crush is around. Or a 'Jarvis, Clip that' for those rare, perfect moments that I wish I could just rewind and relive. I remember this one time, I was trying to leave a note in their locker, and my hands were shaking so bad. I felt like everyone was watching, even though they probably weren't. It's like, why is it so much easier to strategize in a game than to talk to someone you like in real life? The stakes feel so much higher! And my friends try to help, but sometimes their advice just makes me even more nervous. They're like, 'Just do it!' but it's not that simple, right? Dealing with a crush in 8th grade is a whole different ballgame. You're already navigating so many changes, trying to figure out who you are, and then BAM! This person walks into your life and suddenly everything feels amplified. You overthink every text, every glance, every hallway interaction. And then there's the fear of rejection, which feels like the ultimate 'getting bullied' by your own emotions. It can make you lack the courage to even try, because what if it all goes wrong? I've been trying to hype myself up, like, 'Okay, today's the day!' But then I see them, and my brain just short-circuits. It's frustrating because I know they're just a person, but my 8th grade brain turns them into this mythical creature! I've tried writing down what I want to say, practicing in the mirror, even having my bestie pretend to be my crush for practice. But the actual moment? Total blank. It's almost like I need a 'support main' in my own life to help me out. So, if you're out there feeling the same way, remember you're definitely not alone. This whole 'lack the courage' thing with my crush during 8th grade is a universal struggle that so many of us go through. We're all just trying to navigate these tricky feelings and learn how to put ourselves out there without completely freaking out. Maybe instead of waiting for a 'healer' to swoop in and fix everything, we just need to be our own healers, even if it's about taking tiny, baby steps. Like, maybe tomorrow I'll just manage a simple 'hi' or complement their shoes – small victories, right? Every little bit of courage counts. Let me know if you've got any tips that actually work for breaking the ice or building confidence, because I could really use some encouragement and a good pep talk from someone who's been there!
