Struggling to trust gods plan?

Posting this cause it’s something I’ve been struggling with. Recently at a revival I felt really called to go into the ministry. Well, I’ve never thought about that before and well it’s something I don’t think I’d be good about it. I don’t think I’m a great leader but this just feels like something I have to do. Every time I pray about it I feel more certain that i have to do it. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to though because, the specific thing i feel called to do costs over 1000$ and I don’t have anyone in my family who has that kind of money and I make about 80$ a week plus maybe 15-20$ in tips a week so it’s not much at all. So, I’ve decided since god wants me to do this I’ll study up and put the rest in his hands.

Many individuals experience moments of divine calling that can be both exhilarating and frightening. For those feeling drawn to a life in ministry, it’s vital to remember that God equips us for the paths we are called to follow. Scriptures such as Proverbs 3:5-6 remind us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. This can be especially comforting during times when the financial and practical realities seem overwhelming. The concern of needing over $1000 for ministry work can be daunting, but faith often requires stepping out without fully knowing the next steps. It's about trusting the process and believing that through prayer and dedication, God's provisions will come. Additionally, Jeremiah 29:11 is a reassuring scripture that speaks of God's plans to prosper us, give us hope, and help us succeed in our calling. Reflecting on these verses can provide encouragement to those embarking on a faith-based career path. Support from community and seeking guidance from mentors can also play a significant role in navigating this journey. There are various avenues to explore for financial support, including scholarships, fundraising, and community outreach, which can alleviate some of the burdens. Engaging with like-minded individuals who share similar struggles can offer both inspiration and practical advice. Remember, you're not alone in this journey—many before you have faced similar challenges and emerged stronger in their faith and calling.
