I never imagined I’d be writing this.
For the last three years, Browfilter has been so much more than a business. It’s been my dream, my safe place, my biggest challenge, and my greatest achievement.
Making the decision to close hasn’t been easy, and this video is one of the hardest things I’ve ever shared.
If you’ve ever supported Browfilter in any way whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, left a comment, or simply followed along from the sidelines thank you 🥹🫶🏽
You changed my life more than you’ll ever know and I’m so sorry to my customers for letting you down.
This chapter is coming to an end, but I’m choosing to believe that sometimes closing one door is what gives you the courage to walk through another.
I’m excited to rediscover who I am outside of Browfilter, to grow my personal brand, and to fall back in love with creating….the place where this whole journey first began.
Thank you for every single moment over the last three years. I’ll carry them with me forever 💛
P.S. Our Closing Down Sale begins now. Everything is 60% off for two months and after that, any remaining stock will be donated. Any order of any size is appreciated 🥹💌
Love,
Becca

Reading through the journey of Browfilter’s closure really resonated with me, especially the emotional and mental toll that running a small business can take over time. From my own experience as a small business owner, I know how much giving your heart and soul into something can both fulfill you and exhaust you. The challenges Becca mentions, like losing a significant customer base due to external disruptions and the toll of trying to rebuild, are something many entrepreneurs face but don’t often openly share. One key takeaway I found powerful is how important it is to recognize when a chapter has run its course and to have the courage to close one door to open another. It’s common to feel tied to a business like it’s part of your identity, but stepping back to reassess your path can lead to rediscovery and renewed passion. Like Becca, I found that taking time for myself helped me gain much-needed clarity — whether it was through a holiday, spending time away from work, or focusing on personal growth. I also appreciate how transparent Becca is about the mental health side of entrepreneurship. Many small business owners wrestle with self-doubt and burnout, especially amid setbacks. This openness helps reduce stigma and encourages others to prioritize well-being and authenticity over simply pushing forward at all costs. Lastly, the closing down sale offering 60% off and donation of remaining stock is a thoughtful way to honor the community that supported the business. It’s a reminder that even endings can have positive impacts and brings the story full circle with gratitude. If you own a small business or are thinking about starting one, Becca’s story is a meaningful lesson in resilience, honesty, and the importance of evolving alongside your dreams. Sometimes, success isn’t only about growth but knowing when to pivot and focus on what truly fuels your passion.
