I never imagined I’d be writing this.
For the last three years, Browfilter has been so much more than a business. It’s been my dream, my safe place, my biggest challenge, and my greatest achievement.
Making the decision to close hasn’t been easy, and this video is one of the hardest things I’ve ever shared.
If you’ve ever supported Browfilter in any way whether you’ve placed an order, shared a post, left a comment, or simply followed along from the sidelines thank you 🥹🫶🏽
You changed my life more than you’ll ever know and I’m so sorry to my customers for letting you down.
This chapter is coming to an end, but I’m choosing to believe that sometimes closing one door is what gives you the courage to walk through another.
I’m excited to rediscover who I am outside of Browfilter, to grow my personal brand, and to fall back in love with creating….the place where this whole journey first began.
Thank you for every single moment over the last three years. I’ll carry them with me forever 💛
P.S. Our Closing Down Sale begins now. Everything is 60% off for two months and after that, any remaining stock will be donated. Any order of any size is appreciated 🥹💌
Love,
Becca

Running a small business is often a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges, especially when unforeseen circumstances impact your customer base and momentum. From my personal experience witnessing similar journeys, the decision to close or pivot a business rarely comes easy. It requires deep reflection, accepting when something that was once a dream no longer aligns with your current life chapter. I relate deeply to the struggle of trying to rebuild after a significant downturn, like losing a substantial portion of customers abruptly, much like Browfilter experienced when shipping stopped to a major market. The financial strain is coupled with mental fatigue and self-doubt. I’ve personally seen how these pressures can drain confidence and creativity, leading many entrepreneurs to question their path or even disappear from their platforms. What stands out most in Browfilter’s story is the importance of knowing when to step back and prioritize personal well-being. Taking time for life changes and rediscovering passions outside of the business is vital for long-term fulfillment. Watching an entrepreneur embrace this and choose to transition towards personal brand growth and creative content feels inspiring. It’s a reminder that success is not always linear, and sometimes closing one door leads to exciting new opportunities. The decision to offer a 60% off closing sale with plans to donate remaining stock also reflects a compassionate approach to ending this chapter — not just focusing on profit but passing value on to the community that supported the brand. For anyone running their own small business, this story reinforces the importance of community support, resilience, and self-care. It’s a poignant reminder that businesses are about people — the owners, customers, and everyone in between — and that at times, choosing to close or change direction is an act of courage and self-love. Browfilter’s journey encourages all of us to value both our dreams and our well-being equally.
