Love is the one thing I will always give freely, no matter how many times my heart breaks. There’s a saying: It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Imagine loving someone so freely, so fiercely, so loudly, so purely—and imagine them loving you back. What a beautiful gift that is.
People spend so much time trying to avoid heartbreak, so afraid of getting hurt, that they tiptoe through life, guarding themselves. But what is life without mistakes? What is life without risk? What is life without LOVE?
Open your heart. Love the people you love with everything you have, because one day, you might lose them—and wouldn’t it hurt even more to know you held back? To the love I’ve given before, I’m grateful and I won’t changed anything. I wouldn’t take it back for anything. And to the love I’m giving now, I’ll wear it on my sleeve.
