Here are the actual effects when we do not keep canon 5:

1. Do not hurt life (Panatipata) ❌

* Aftermath: Hurting others, whether physical or mental, creates conflict and tension in society, infuses our minds with anger and anxiety, and causes us to lose inner peace.

2. Do not exploit others (Athinatana) 💸

* Consequences: Whether petty cheating or burglary, it deprives us of credibility in the eyes of those around us and destroys long-term relationships that rely primarily on "trust."

3. Not unfaithful (Qamesu Jara) 💔

* Aftermath: Lack of integrity in relationships, causing pain, insecurity and rupture in families and society.

4. Do not lie (lie) 🤫

* Aftermath: Lying despite frequent trivial things makes us lose credibility, no one wants to tell us the truth, and prevents us from building a sincere relationship.

5. Not absent consciousness (Surat Mash Patatana) 🥂

* Aftermath: Substance abuse or absent-mindedly drinking makes it easy for us to make wrong decisions, damage health, and inadvertently lead to actions that may hurt both ourselves and others.
