POV: You're now part of my therapy session! 🫢😂😂🙌‼️✅ this is therapy for me!! I RATHER LIE TO MYSELF THEN LOOSE MYSELF!! THOSE LOOSE ME THEN I LOOSE THEM! I DO ME‼️💯💯🔥👏🏼
Taking time for personal therapy, even informal or self-led ones, can be incredibly healing. I’ve learned that sometimes, pretending everything is fine—what the post calls "lying to myself"—can be a form of coping that helps me regain strength. It’s not about denial but about protecting my core when things get overwhelming. What resonates most here is the idea of not losing yourself in relationships or situations that don’t nurture your well-being. Throughout my journey, I’ve realized that setting boundaries is crucial, and when others don’t respect those boundaries, it’s okay to distance yourself to preserve your identity and peace. Doing "me" means prioritizing your needs, passions, and mental health above all. Whether it’s journaling, talking to close friends, or simply taking quiet moments alone, these practices serve as powerful therapy. I encourage anyone feeling lost or overwhelmed to try embracing these small acts of self-care—it can be transformative. Remember, therapy isn’t always formal—sometimes it’s the little things we do for ourselves every day that make the biggest difference.
