🍋 Day 14: I Submitted My Application to God

Today was Day 14 of my 30 Days of Audacity Challenge.

My challenge was to take a huge shot.

At first, I thought that meant applying for an opportunity.

Submitting an application.

Sending an email.

Knocking on a door.

But as I sat with it, I realized there was a bigger application I wanted to submit.

One I’ve been writing with my life for years.

So today, I submitted my application to God.

Not for a title.

Not for recognition.

Not for status.

But for purpose.

For a long time, I’ve spent so much energy trying to figure out what I’m supposed to do.

What career path to take.

What business to build.

What door to walk through.

And while those things matter, today I felt a shift.

Instead of asking,

What do I want to do?

I found myself asking,

How do You want to use me?

Because the truth is, I don’t just want a job.

I want alignment.

I don’t just want income.

I want impact.

I don’t just want success.

I want significance.

So today, my application was simple.

My skills.

My gifts.

My experiences.

My story.

My heart.

All submitted.

And if I’m being honest, that feels like the boldest thing I’ve done all month.

🌸 Day 14 Complete.

What I’m Learning:

🤍 Purpose is often discovered through surrender.

🤍 The greatest opportunities can’t always be found online.

🤍 Sometimes the next step is simply making yourself available.

If God could use your life in any way He chose, what would you hope He’d do through you? 👇🏾

✍🏾✨ Purpose often finds us when we stop trying to control the path and become willing to walk it.

... Read moreThroughout my journey of seeking purpose, I have learned that true fulfillment comes not from chasing external achievements but from surrendering to a higher calling. Submitting my application to God symbolized a heartfelt offering of my skills, gifts, and life story, embracing uncertainty while trusting that opportunities often arise in unexpected ways. In my experience, purpose is deeply connected to alignment — when what you do matches your core values and passions. This alignment is what fuels impact and significance beyond mere success or income. It requires being open and willing to let go of control and simply show up, making yourself available for growth and service. Prayer, waiting, and trusting have become vital practices for me during this process. I realized that the biggest 'application' I could submit wasn’t a resume or business proposal, but a soul laid bare — fully open-hearted and ready to be used in meaningful ways. This kind of audacity means taking spiritual and emotional risks, breaking free from traditional definitions of achievement, and inviting divine guidance to shape the next steps. Whether through career shifts, new ventures, or personal transformations, the essence is surrendering the desire to direct every detail and embracing the journey. If you’re feeling stuck wondering, “What’s next?” I encourage you to consider what it means to submit your whole self to purpose. Reflect on your unique story, gifts, and experiences as offerings, and be willing to trust the path even when it’s unclear. Purpose often isn’t a destination found online or through a quick decision; it’s a daily commitment to remain open, listen deeply, and act bravely even in uncertainty. My Day 14 submission was the boldest act of faith I’ve committed this month, and it continues to shape how I live intentionally and authentically. Ultimately, the greatest opportunities emerge when we let go of control and make ourselves available to be used as we were meant to be. What could happen if you submitted your application — your whole heart — to a purpose greater than yourself?

How I landed ALL my jobs through cold applying… 🤫
Every single one of my post-grad full-time corporate marketing roles I’ve held was landed via cold applying with my resume on LinkedIn. And to make things more shocking, most of them were also via “Easy Apply” where I simply submitted my resume (and maybe asked a few identity related questions).
