6. Are they pet friendly? Do they have a pet security deposit? Is there a monthly pet fee? How many pets are allowed? Do they have weight limits? Do they require yearly vaccination documentation?
7. Do they offer 24-7 emergency maintenance?
8. Do amenities cost extra? What are the amenities?
9. Do they have assigned parking?
10. Can you use doorbell cameras?
11. How are packages delivered?
12. Do they have restrictions on guests staying over?
13. What are the quiet hours?
14. How are maintenance requests submitted? Find out if you have to call, email, or have a portal?
15. Find out if staff like leasing agents, property managers are on-site Monday through Friday. It’s very important because it does make a difference when you can talk to someone vs waiting for an email and you don’t know when you’ll have a resolution to your issue.
These are very important questions to ask to ensure you’re applying for a community that aligns with you. You want to love the community you’re moving into!
