• Caesar dressing
• Croutons
• Parmesan cheese
For the guacamole
• 1 ripe avocado
• 1 tablespoon chopped tomato
• 1 tablespoon chopped onion
• Lime juice
• Salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the potatoes
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the potatoes thinly without cutting all the way through (Hasselback style). Brush with olive oil or butter and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs. Bake for 40–50 minutes until crispy outside and soft inside.
2. Cook the steak
Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak about 3–4 minutes per side for medium, adding butter and garlic at the end to baste the steak.
3. Make the salad
In a bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing. Top with croutons and grated Parmesan cheese.
4. Prepare the guacamole
Mash the avocado in a small bowl. Add tomato, onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Serve
Plate the steak with the crispy Hasselback potatoes, a scoop of guacamole, and the Caesar salad on the side.
