Revived my old idog. Eventually it'll be used with my record player, but for now it's my desk buddy.

Taking a break from writing this weekend and finally getting around to hemming these pants. Been meaning to for a while now. Look, I'm 4'11. Hand sewing is a necessity to learn.

Will get back to writing later. For now, I'm prepping to head out with the fam and do some pumpkin picking. #monstersquad #fallfit

While I'm working on the tense swap, I wanted to share a sneak peek of my dark fantasy novel "The Demon's Feast". #darkfantasy #books #indieauthor #sneakpeek

When life forces you to be a morning person, you grab a book. ... After laying in bed after the alarm physically wakes you up so you can mentally wake up a bit of course. #morningbooks #currently reading #alanwake #books

With the release of "Threshing Day" around the corner, I'm re-reading "Fourth Wing". I know I loved the book, but man it feels good to read it again. #fourthwingseries #currently reading #books

Also, totally not just an excuse to savor the good hair and makeup day. But yeah, the office is starting to come together very nicely. It's starting to feel cozy. I'm very excited to have the space back after the flooding a little over a month ago. #goodhairday

POV you've got most of the desk set up but remembered you still have a lot of reorganizing to do in the office space and a lot still to unpack. #desksetup #workspace #authorlife

Let's try this again since Lemon8 removed my previous post about my book. I recently re-released my horror anthology "Dark Pine Tales of Terror" under my pen name C.A. Haan. I'm excited to have finally made the full swap to the pen name. You can get it via the taplink on my page.

It's been almost two months since I've been in my space. Long story short, the pumps burst and the space flooded. I've been guestroom hopping in the house since while I waited for the space to be renovated once the pumps were fixed. While I'm still nervous about flooding, it feels g

Fingers crossed the work on the basement can start up soon so I can get back down there. For now I'm in a guest room. I have some books with me, but I honestly feel like they're more to make me feel at home in the temp setup than to actually read. That's not to say I'm not reading t

I know it's going to be a couple weeks before the renovations start downstairs and I can get back into my space, so I'm trying to make the most of the space I'm temporarily in. Got a small desk calendar to make up for not having my wall calendar anymore. Swapped out the organizer to one

When in doubt, what better way to spend a stormy night than reading? #readingweather #silverelite #books #currentlyreading

Being displaced in the house is starting to get to me. I can't wait for the basement to be renovated so I can get back down there. I mean, I'm still happy we caught the flooding early on, but not having a space I can say is mine and walk around without feeling like I'm in the way is som

While the rest of the outline should be able to play out as planned, I need to add some chapters after a scene played out somewhat differently than planned. #writing #authorlife

Getting some work in before having to get ready to go out. I want to get another chapter finished in my dark fantasy novel "The Demon's Feast". Getting there. I have the outline on hand to keep things on track. Also, totally not just getting some of my outfit in the shot to fit the
