Next week I hit my 2 month mark for starting loc journey.

I can for sure say I am letting my hair do its thing because what I normally would’ve done was ask my dad to shave this off…. But I love the cute lil hairstyles I’ve been trying.

As I reflect on my journey over the past two months since starting my locs, I can confidently say that this decision has transformed both my hair and my routine. The freedom to let my hair flourish naturally has allowed me to embrace creativity with various hairstyles, a departure from my previous inclination to keep things uniform. This shift not only impacts me but also makes mornings smoother for my daughter and me as we prepare for our day ahead. It's exciting to see how popular loc hairstyles have become, as they symbolize self-expression and individuality. Many share their experiences online, showing that this style can suit anyone, regardless of hair type or texture. Additionally, with special occasions, like my daughter's birthday approaching, I'm eagerly anticipating a fresh retwist to enhance our celebrations. Balancing motherhood and personal aesthetics is part of the journey, and I'm thrilled to share this experience with all the fellow loc enthusiasts out there. Whether you're just starting or considering getting locs, this journey is a testament to self-love and embracing one’s unique beauty.

Every time there’s a new iOS, it does something to my little heart, I start planning in my head how I’m going to use new features to help me not only become more productive at my job or tasks, but also become a better me. I’ll be adding how I plan to use these features at work and or better myself.
