⛩️ One Day Trip Kyoto-Higashyama | Hikashiyama Old Town Stroll

This trip is another day in our Kyoto. This time it takes a slow walk to the Higashiyama area. Gradually, gradually, because most of today's places are not far apart, and there is so much to see on the way.

⛩️ Kiyomizu-dera Temple

We start the day together./วัดคิโยะมิซุOr the clear water temple first. Because this is one of the important landmarks of Kyoto, people are quite normal, so we choose early in the morning to avoid the tightest part.

And it was considered the right decision. When we arrived, there were people, but they were still comfortable walking, not crowded, but only when we walked out, more and more people started.

🏘️ Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka

After the tour, we walked later./ย่านนิเนซากะAnd/ย่านซันเนซากะWhich is another very favorite corner of Kyoto. The stone streets and traditional wooden houses make the atmosphere here like we've walked in another era of Kyoto. Even when we go, it rains and stops, but there's a little souvenir shop.

🌿 Kodaiji Temple

Continuously walking, will meet with/วัดโคไดจิThe temple was built in 1606 by Nene, dedicated to her husband after Hideyoshi's death and later Nene's late life in this area, so it is a temple with quite a lot of stories about both of them.

But what we want to say is that there are not only temples here.

There is a bamboo forest in the temple area, and the important thing is that quite a few people! Compared to the famous bamboo forest elsewhere, this place gives a much calmer feed. Can walk and take pictures without having to hide from people. Anyone who wants a quiet bamboo forest atmosphere, we here are interesting.

After that, walk out and find something to eat. Buy a little something to eat before moving on to the next point.

🪨 Yasui Konpiragu Shrine

The next point is/ศาลเจ้ายาซุยคอนพิระกูOr as many are known as shrines for "cutting ties."

There is a belief in cutting off bad relationships or bad things, along with a wish to find a good relationship. It is a popular shrine among people who want to start something new or want to cut off bad things in life. And the gimmick that anyone can remember is the "Relationship Stone," where we have to write a prayer and go through the boulders to cut off bad things and bring in good relationships.

Of course... we're here for that reason. 😂

🪭 Kyoto Ebisu-jinja Shrine

Then continue walking

Yes, walk again. 😂 Today is one Day Trip with legs as the main vehicle. Let's move on./ศาลเจ้าเกียวโต-เอบิสึ-จินจะA shrine dedicated to the deity Ebisu, the deity of good fortune and glory, specifically about trade.

Personally, I first knew the god Ebisu from watching the anime, so I felt that since I came to Kyoto, I wanted to come by to see it myself once. And as expected, the atmosphere is quite different from the shrine. Most people who pay homage are adults, not many teenagers, making the atmosphere quite calm.

Then still... walk on. 😂

We arrived./Hanamikoji StreetA famous street in the Gion neighborhood filled with traditional wooden houses and the atmosphere of old Kyoto.

The street is in the heart of the Gion neighborhood, an area long associated with geisha and maiko culture, with two sides of the way still much of the traditional style of buildings and shops to see.

For us, we do not have any special plans, just walk and take pictures and keep walking because today I intend to walk more than hurry to collect places.

🌸 Gion & Yasaka Shrine

Walk later, we enter/กิออนIt's obviously starting to grow because it's one of Kyoto's famous tourist districts, and the last point today is/ศาลเจ้ายาซากะExactly in the Gion area

Yasaka Shrine is a major shrine in Kyoto, dating back to the 7th century AD, according to one of the founding legends. It is also the center of the Gion Matsuri Festival, one of Japan's most famous festivals. We intend to finish the day because we want to wait and see when the shrine lantern opens in the evening.

And must say that... I like it very much 🥹

When the lights were turned on, the atmosphere of the shrine and the lanterns changed. From the bustling daylight, the evening came to be beautiful and warm, so it was the end of the One Day Trip today.

After that, find something to eat and return to the shelter. It is another day that does not emphasize that you have to complete your trip at all points, but to keep walking, stop by the temple, stop by the shrine, see the old city, eat delicious things, and gradually absorb the atmosphere of/แขวงฮิงาชิยามะ

And of course... really walk all day today, hahahaha

If anyone likes to travel to Kyoto slowly, do not rush to change places often. I think this route is good because each point is in a close zone and there are many beautiful corners on the way to stop.

It's Kyoto, another day that we want to try to walk slowly and let the city take us by itself. 🌿
